Tang Soo Do/Tae Kwon Do

Saeng Myong Martial Arts belongs to the Moo Duk Kwan School of Tang Soo Do. Today over 10 million students practice Tae Kwon Do. Tae Kwon Do was introduced into the Olympics in 1988, with its participants AAU sanctioned.
Tang Soo Do finds its roots in the ancient Korean martial arts of Kwan Bup, Tae Kyun and Soo Bahk. It uses "hard-snap" kicks, blocks, and punches to defend against one or more attackers. It is well suited for children and people new to martial arts. With the study of Tang Soo Do you will gain strength, speed, flexibility, and significant offensive/defensive capabilities. Tae Kwon Do provides opportunities for learning more acrobatic kicks, such as jumping and spinning kicks.
The styles of martial arts taught at Saeng Myong Martial Arts have been traditionally passed down to Sa Bom Nim Merta directly from Grandmaster Jung. Saeng Myong's martial art styles have a direct lineage that extends back to Grandmaster Hwang Kee, who is credited with the founding of the Moo Duk Kwan school of Tang Soo Do. The styles taught at Saeng Myong are "original" martial art. None of the techniques have been modernized or changed but instead our techniques have been faithfully preserved from these legendary masters.
